Thai comes to Mid City and Boy is it Delicious!

New Orleans is never short of new restaurant openings and now a new Thai establishment named Chada has opened in the Mid City Corridor. Chada is the sister restaurant to Dahla located in the downtown area of the city. Chada has taken over a double shotgun home and has exquisitely renovated the home with indoor seating in the front and at the rear of the building with a two level patio out back for outdoor seating. The interior is beautifully designed with Thai inspired artwork. You need to look up and down and even sideways to see the extent of the design.

Craft cocktails are masterful and delicious and you are going to want to try more than one. There are food specials every evening and your staff members will let you know about them as you place your drink order. While we did not order one of the two whole fish platters(one is fried and one is steamed), we watched the presentation at tables around us and each platter can feed three or more patrons. All meal portions are generous so if you are with friends, you may want to consider eating family style and having a taste of everything.
